alchemianova: the heart of nature-based solutions
alchemia-nova is a research and innovation institute dedicated to advancing nature-based solutions and circular economy principles to support the transition towards climate-smart and sustainable societies. Through applied research and hands-on collaboration, alchemia-nova helps translate sustainability concepts into practical solutions across sectors such as water management, resilient cities and infrastructure, agriculture and food systems, and industrial production.
The institute combines scientific research with real-world implementation, working closely with public bodies, businesses and civil society. Its multidisciplinary team actively contributes to international research and innovation projects, continuously expanding its expertise while supporting partners in adopting holistic and regenerative approaches.
alchemianova’s Role in ATRIUM
Within the ATRIUM project, alchemia-nova plays a key role in bringing bio-based construction solutions closer to real-life application.

Developing prototypes for green wall systems, supporting the integration of bio-based materials into building envelopes

Leading and coordinating activities across the three ATRIUM demonstration sites, ensuring alignment between technical development and on-site implementation

Co-creating sustainable business models, working with partners and local stakeholders to explore viable pathways for market uptake
