ATRIUM at Transfiere 2026

From 24–26 February 2026, the ATRIUM project was represented at Transfiere 2026, one of Spain’s leading events dedicated to science, technology and knowledge transfer. Held in FYCMA – Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, the forum brought together universities, companies, research centres and institutions from across Spain and internationally to strengthen collaboration and accelerate innovation.

The event served as a meeting point for the research and innovation ecosystem, combining conferences, thematic panels, networking sessions and exhibition spaces. Discussions focused on key topics such as deep tech, investment, entrepreneurship, public procurement of innovation, sustainability, intellectual property and knowledge transfer. This year’s edition also highlighted emerging fields including advanced materials, biotechnology, precision health and dual-use technologies, reflecting major trends shaping the European R&D landscape.

ATRIUM was showcased at the stand of the project coordinator, AITIIP Technology Center, where visitors could learn about the project’s work on bio-based materials for the construction sector.

During the event, the AITIIP team presented ATRIUM informational materials, including project leaflets, and displayed prototypes of the bio-based planting pots being developed within the project. These prototypes provided a tangible example of how bio-based formulations can be transformed into practical products using innovative manufacturing processes.

We thank AITIIP Technology Center for representing ATRIUM at the event and showcasing the project’s work in Málaga.
