Showcasing Our Large-Scale 3D Printing Breakthroughs

Every year in Frankfurt, thousands of industry experts gather to explore the newest technologies, materials, and applications redefining how we design and manufacture.

Formnext is more than the world’s leading trade fair for additive manufacturing, it’s where the future of industrial production takes shape. This year, on 18th November, ATRIUM was there.

What we showcased

AITIIP, represented by Raquel Navarro, attended Formnext and showcased several large-scale printed façade panels, produced using the exact material formulation intended for ATRIUM’s upcoming green wall demonstrator.

  • Large-format printability: confirming that the material can be extruded consistently over long print times.

  • Material transition: showing the shift from a virgin transparent formulation to a composite reinforced with hemp fibres-

  • Façade-ready geometry: testing the shape and structure of panels suitable for a ventilated façade system, similar to what will be used in the ATRIUM demonstrator.

Bringing ATRIUM’s Innovation to the International Stage

Participating in Formnext reinforces ATRIUM’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of sustainable construction technologies. It strengthens our position within the additive manufacturing community and supports our mission to create bio-based materials that help decarbonise the built environment.
