ATRIUM at Advanced Factories 2025: Showcasing Innovation for Sustainable Industry
From April 8–10, 2025, Aitiip Centro Tecnológico, coordinator of the ATRIUM project, took part in Advanced Factories 2025, held at the Fira de Barcelona. This major event is one of Europe’s leading showcases for the digital and sustainable transformation of manufacturing, bringing together more than 570 cutting-edge companies at the forefront of advanced industrial technology.
The event offered a platform to present ATRIUM’s vision for more sustainable and circular construction, as well as Aitiip’s wider innovations in advanced materials and additive manufacturing.
Spotlight on Innovation at Stand 4D469
At their dedicated booth, Aitiip presented a variety of industrial breakthroughs, including several technologies with strong synergies to ATRIUM’s objectives:
🔧 ROBOMIMIC – a programming-by-imitation platform for industrial robots, enabling fast and intuitive robot training.
🖨️ 3D Printing Solutions for the industrial sector, including:
- Reverse engineering for the railway sector (Renfe Project)
- Metal 3D printed parts using 316L steel and AlSi10Mg aluminum

First Public Appearance of the ATRIUM Leaflet
ATRIUM gained valuable visibility during the event with the first public use of our promotional leaflets, distributed at Aitiip’s stand. These materials helped introduce the project’s objectives, partners, and innovation pillars to visitors from across the manufacturing and R&D ecosystem—strengthening outreach and sparking interest in the future of bio-based construction.
